We had the cream of broccoli soup, cheese pizza, grilled ham and cheese and fish and chips. Prices were very affordable compared to other Alaska restaurants. We all agreed it was the best pizza we have tried since getting to Alaska. French fries were crisped to perfection. Service and other foods were good too. All round loved our late day lunch here. Highly recommend it!!! Food was hot and delicious. Only had one server and she was running her tail off but did a wonderful job. Happy customer here. Would stop again if ever back. Burgers and pizza looked amazing! Gotta say that the Fireweed Grill has vastly improved in the two years since we've moved to Alaska. The service is better, but more importantly the food and its quality has gone to a new level. The cook they've had since late summer '16 is far superior to the kid who helmed the kitchen prior; the burgers and salads alone have gone from "meh" to "when can we go again?" Whether you're local or just passing through, give the Fireweed Grill a try. Great burger and the waitress was so nice. The service might be a bit slow but that's because it is NOT McDonald's. Ample room for large groups. Good gift shop next door too We ordered burgers. Was expecting them to just be regular frozen bland burgers but they were really good. This place was clean and very spacious. Will visit again.
