Warm clean rooms. Cozy Alaska lodge with nice fireplace, and great views of the lake. The service was good and the food was yummy. Great place to relax after a long ride. Great area for snow machining, many miles of fun trails and lakes to ride on. That's what the Milepost ad says and it's really true. There's a little island right out front of the lodge. You can sit at the bar and watch the sunset. Plus the lounge has an Alaskan wildlife display that everyone comes to a lodge to see. We were pleasantly surprised that a little lodge could give so much! Their rooms had been recently remodeled with satellite TV, fridges, micros, coffee pots and we really enjoyed having a private bath (not always available at a lodge or motel in Alaska). Very clean rooms.
